Daisy's Story

First of all, my name isn’t Daisy Briarrose.  I made that up.  I never did like the name my parents gave me.  I mean, really, who names a baby Fizzle?  Fizzle Fitzsimmons, that’s me.  I changed my name when I left home.  I stowed away in a wagon leaving Lark and never went back.  I hope I never have to return.

Having no idea where the traders were heading with that group of wagons, I burrowed deep into the trade goo ds and waited.  I knew that I wanted to see the world, learn new things, travel.  And so I did.  They plodded along through small hamlets and towns, selling their goods along the way.  I would sneak out at night for food and drink.  Sometimes I followed along for a day or two.  Sometimes I crawled back into my hiding place and slept.  When, after several weeks of travel and trading we arrived at Bremel, I crawled out to look around.  I liked what I saw and there I have stayed.  For now, at least.

Gathering and selling mushrooms to some of the vendors and inns in the city I have made a decent living.   I was able to buy my mule, Bingo, and save a little besides.  I’ve made a few friends and at least one enemy among the farmers of the area who don’t like for me to harvest my mushrooms in their woods.
I count “Ox” Stonesinger as a friend and a sturdy mount. He’s always ready to give my short legs a rest and offer a boost so I can look around.

(Daisy is also friends with Joshua’s guy, but I’ll have to add that connection later when we have his name and character info.)
